Dear Mr. Anderson,

I have become aware of a proposal, prepared by residents of Senneville, for the purchase by Parks Canada of Sir John Abbott's former estate, including his house, Boisbriant, and the ruins of Fort Senneville.
I am aware of this land, its buildings and the remains of the fort. I strongly support this initiative to preserve this beautiful site, rich in historical, archaeological, and natural significance, as a cultural resource available to all Canadians.

Please give this proposal serious consideration. It is an opportunity to conserve not only a fine residence of a former prime minister, but also the built legacy of 350 years of Canadian history.

Yours truly,
